MOBILITY TO ROMANIA

The last mobility was held in the period from 14 - 19 May 2023. The host was Scoala Gimnaziala " Spiru Haret " from Dorohoi.  The topic of this mobility was responsible consumption. On the first day of the stay, the students participated in a musical game, which the hosts creatively organized, each student had the task of finding their partner and talking to them in order to get to know each other better. After that, a presentation of works was organized in the media library of the school, where guests and hosts presented their activities related to responsible consumption. The hosts organized a tour of the city and a visit to the city hall, where the guests were addressed by the deputy mayor. After returning to school, there was a workshop where the students made flower pots out of old shoes which were previously dipped in plaster.

On the second day they visited the Putna monastery, where they had the opportunity to get to know the history of this region a little better through the presentation of the monks and a visit to the museum. After the monastery, they paid a visit to the "Expo Moto Bucovina" motor museum. In the afternoon, a visit to the city of Suceava was organized, where the guests visited the Etno village and enjoyed the tour and the view from the beautiful fortress located not far from the museum ("Suceava Fortress"). On the third day of mobility, students and teachers headed to the city of Botosani where they visited the Botosani School Inspectorate. After this visit, the guests and hosts headed to the nearby Tudora forest (Tudora protected forest), which belongs to a special, protected nature reserve. Upon arrival at the foot of the forest, guests were greeted by specialized guides who made the walk through the forest safe and exciting. The walk through the forest was a real adventure, it involved overcoming small obstacles, climbing and descending the cliff, all with the aim of reaching the glade where the guests were awaited by extremely friendly hosts, shepherds who were in charge of a short break with a snack. After returning to Dorohoi, students and teachers visited the artisan pottery workshop, where they got to know the skills of the old craft of making pottery products from black clay.  On the fourth day of mobility, students were divided into two groups. The first activity was in the Natural Science Museum, the students first enjoyed viewing the museum's settings, and then participated in a workshop that included experiments with chemical reactions and measuring the PH value of solutions. One group actively participated in the museum, while the other group during that time visited the technical high school "Ion Pilat", which is located in the immediate vicinity of the museum. Teachers and students of the school presented the way of making decorative items that are created by reconstruction and using the remains of materials, stone, plastic, ceramics, such as vases, pots and similar decorative items. After these activities, they headed to the host school where they continued with creative activities. In the school yard, they made a mosaic from the remains of ceramic tiles and marble pieces. After lunch, they arranged and created an exhibition in the school hall, which included all the works that the mobility participants made in their schools in the activities that preceded the mobility and during the mobilities themselves. The exhibition was designed according to the thematic units of the project: waste management, sustainable ) food, biodiversity, ecological efficiency and responsible consumption. During the final mobility, the students came up with a joint fifth stanza of the project's anthem and sang the entire anthem. On this fourth day, a festive dinner was held, which was also a real pleasure and joy for all participants. After dinner, certificates were distributed to all participants, and the students enjoyed having fun with their peers. On the fifth day of mobility, the presentation of the traditions and customs of the Romanian people was organized by the students of the lowest grades of the host school.

PRESENTATIONS OF SCHOOLS

Before the mobility each partner analyzed the situations in their own schools through the observation sheet, made conclusions and action plans for the improvements. Then, they presented this on the first day of the mobility.
